Penn State Law Panel: "Presidential Impeachment: Historical Context and Current Controversies"

Please join Penn State Law on Thursday, January 16th for a panel discussion on "Presidential Impeachment: Historical Context and Current Controversies." The evening begins at 4:30 p.m. with a reception in the Lewis Katz Building Atrium and will continue with a panel discussion from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in the Sutliff Auditorium. The panel will feature Heidi Kitrosser, Robins Kaplan Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota Law School, and Keith E. Whittington, William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Politics at Princeton University. Hari M. Osofsky, Dean of Penn State Law and the School of International Affairs, will make welcoming remarks and serve as moderator for the evening. American Constitution Society President Shifa Abuzaid and Federalist Society President Dallas Kephart will provide introductions. This event is co-sponsored by Penn State Law student groups -- the American Constitution Society and the Federalist Society -- along with the Penn State Law dean's office.
