Apply to the LL.M./M.I.A. Program

Aimed at international students, this unique joint degree experience offers two years of immersive study in the United States, combining advanced legal expertise with international affairs training to give you a powerful professional edge.

The LL.M./M.I.A. program is offered jointly by SIA and Penn State Dickinson Law in University Park and helps students advance their career in international law and policy and in international organizations like the United Nations, global law firms, NGOs, and multinational corporations. In two years, students who successfully complete the program will earn a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Master of International Affairs (M.I.A.).

Application Requirements

You must apply to Penn State Dickinson Law and the School of International Affairs (SIA) separately and must meet both school's admissions requirements. You may complete these applications simultaneously during the time you are applying to the law school OR you may hold off on applying to the Master of International Affairs program until you are enrolled in the law school.
